Ezra Bolds, Jr.

Ezra Bolds, Jr. joined The DME Board of Directors in July 2010. Mr. Bolds has over twenty years of experience in the fiscal management of large and complex businesses, including ten years of experience in non-profit organizations. He has used his expertise to plan, develop, implement and maintain effective accounting strategies, policies and procedures in compliance with evolving regulations, legal requirements and industry trends and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls that ensure corporate responsibility and accountability. Mr. Bolds received his MBA in Business Management from Golden Gate University, and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University.

Debra Rabinowitz

Ms. Rabinowitz joined The DME Board of Directors in February 2012. Ms. Rabinowitz is a fundraiser, publicist, grant writer, major events coordinator, and professional trainer. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, she has served as an agency director for Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and Assistant Director for Jewish Family Services. She is currently a grant writer and fundraising contractor to several non-profits. Her background and experience in the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene have instilled in her a desire to assist The DME and its mission to provide access to durable medical equipment to the un-insured and under-insured residents of Los Angeles County.

Holly Spiegel

Holly Spiegel is the founder and senior design consultant for Adaptive Design Associates, a studio within Todd B. Spiegel Architects. Ms. Spiegel graduated from UC Berkeley and received her accreditation as a certified aging-in-place specialist from the National Association of Home Builders. Ms. Spiegel also completed extensive training at the Andrus Gerontology Center at USC and received executive certification in their industry-leading Home Modification Program. The experience gained from working on multi-family senior living facilities lead to the creation of the Adaptive Design studio. In 2010, Holly was asked to join the staff at the Motion Picture & Television Fund to help run the Home Safe Home program. She now splits her time between supporting the home safety needs of senior and special needs members of the entertainment industry and the Adaptive Design studio.

Nilofar Amier



Ms. Nilofar Amier serves as The DME's Executive Director and is responsible for providing leadership and development of the organization’s strategic business, marketing, and fundraising strategies, as well as managing the organization's day-to-day operations.
